Director of Bands - Matt Fuller

Matt Fuller , in his twenty-fourth year of teaching, is currently serving as the Director of Bands at the Apalachee High School in Winder, GA. Before starting the band program at Apalachee High School , Mr. Fuller taught in Fayette County [GA], Clayton County [GA], and at Washington County High School [KY]. He received his undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Kentucky in 1986. While at UK , he served as the senior assistant director of the Marching Band and Pep Band. He has since earned degrees from the University of Georgia with a Master's Degree in Music Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lincoln Memorial University . Mr. Fuller's bands have performed at the Bands of America National Concert Band Festival, Southern Division on MENC Conference, at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago , in Carnegie Hall, on the Main Street at Disney World, and his band was the featured band at the 1996 Carquest Bowl Halftime show in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bands under his direction have consistently received superior ratings in concert, jazz, and marching idioms.

Mr. Fuller is a member of Phi Beta Mu, Kappa Kappa Psi Band Honorary, Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honorary, NBA, MENC, and is a clarinetist in the Tara Winds Community Band. Mr. Fuller is married to Kristen Fuller and they reside in Winder, GA. They have two sons, Jonathan and Patrick.

Associate Director of Bands - Danielle Loman

Mrs. Loman is in her third year of teaching, and is currently serving as the Associate Director of Bands at Apalachee High School. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama. Upon graduation, she was named Most Outsanding Undergraduate Student in Instrumental Music. Mrs. Loman's concert band has received superior ratings at Georgia's Large Group Performance Evaluation. She is currently in charge of organizing LGPE 2011 for the northern portion of District 13.

Mrs. Loman is a member of MENC and is an oboist in the Tara Winds Community Band. She is married to Adam Loman and resides in Lawrenceville, GA. They have a bulldog named Willy and 3 cats: Apples, Bebe, and Butters.
